Norman is made the head of national security and disbands S.H.I.E.L.D. replacing it with a new organization called H.A.M.M.E.R.. He also recruits several key members to his operations such as Victoria Hand as his deputy director and all the new Avengers. Meanwhile he arranges for Doctor Doom to be escorted back to Latveria. Upon arriving in Latveria however, Doom and his escorts are attacked by Morgan le Fay.
NOTE: Everyone who joins the Dark Avengers except for Ares and Sentry gets names.
